Krzysztof Kubera is a graduate of the Academy of Social Sciences in Katowice where he earned a master’s degree in economics, as well as postgraduate studies at WNSN in Tychy, SGH in Warsaw and AE in Katowice. He is authorized to provide bookkeeping services, sit on supervisory boards of state-owned companies, and is competent in controlling.

He began his professional career underground in the mining industry, moving up the career ladder from the position of electrician to the independent position of senior inspector for the development of the mining plant with a specialization in economics. He held managerial positions in, among others, Nadwiślańska Spółka Węglowa S.A., Rybnicka Spółka Węglowa S.A., Kompania Węglowa S.A., as well as in companies unrelated to the mining industry. From August 2008 to July 2013, he served as Member of the Management Board – Vice President for Economics and Finance at Central Mine Rescue Station S.A. From August 2013 to June 2016, he held the position of Commercial Director at the Automation Systems Completion and Mechanization Company S.A. in Tychy. Since 2016, he has held the position of Member of the Management Board – Vice President for Economics and Finance at the Central Mine Rescue Station S.A.
